Building works

Plans for the renovation of the toilets in the main building

Both the girls and boys toilets will be 'refreshed' with fresh paint, new cubicle doors and new floor covering.

The  boys cloakroom, currently used for intimate care, will be  changed in to a medical room with sink, space for a fridge and space for a small medical bed or physio mat and the addition of a door.

New build Plans:
The new build is being built on the site of the previous mobile building. 2 mirror image class rooms will be built with large windows to the playground, maximising natural light.
The central area will house a unisex accessible wc (mostly used by male&female staff) and 3 single unit toilet rooms for children (completely sealed rooms with individual lighting and ventilation) which will be designated as girls or boys. A large hand wash trough opposite these will provide handwashing facilities in a larger space, providing the opportunity for a greater number of uses. The central area will also accomodate a cleaner's store room (locked). A light well central in the ceiling will provide natural light to the foyer and space for a group table has been created underneath. Pegs for coats and bags will surround the central area maximising space for movement.
There will be a ramp to the main entrance and steps from fire doors from each classroom.
